Peter Phuoc Tran

Mr. Peter Tran passed away on December 12, 2019 at St Peter's Hospital in New Brunswick. He was born in Ha Noi, North Vietnam on November 25, 1925. He moved to South Vietnam in 1954 and married to Maria Thai in 1955. They have 7 children, 10 grand children and 5 great-grand-children. 

His oldest son is a Catholic priest, Rev. Luke Tran, who is Pastor of Christ the King Parish in Hillside NJ. Peter arrived in the USA with wife and 5 children in April, 1991. He became US citizen in 1999. He and his wife converted to Catholicism in November, 2010. They belong to the Vietnamese community at Christ the King parish in Hillside. He loved watching wrestling and being with his big family to celebrate birthdays, Thanksgiving , Christmas and Vietnamese New Year...

Funeral Mass in Vietnamese is at 10 am on December 14, 2019 at Christ the King Church.
