I was at Jefferson with Pete and also at Lewis and Clark. I saw Pete in Anaheim when he was with Chicago and he brought us in to the dugout before the game. We were reacquainted in 1996 when we attended the Jefferson reunion lunches at the Sextant, where a former Jeff athlete owned the restaurant on the river. I also knew Jim and Wendy, and loved the family. The best always to the family and my kindest thoughts to Margaret at this difficult time. Mack C. Wiebe

We hope you find comfort knowing we are thinking of you these days Margaret. We have fond memories of the few times we were with Pete. I'll always remember trying on his baseball ring!

God bless you Margaret and family. I will always have many fond memories from my days at the old ball park on 35th and Shields. I was proud to know Pete and he was my sports idol growing up. I feel so sad for all of you but I'm sure Pete has given you many beautiful memories to cherish for all time. Go White Sox #8. Heaven is rejoicing---I'm sure he will be a grand slam hit. Linda Glowa

Being with Pete was such a trip! He always had a smile and a silly joke! My condolences to his family, especially Margaret, who is a saint!!

My deepest sympathy to Pete's family. He was a joy to be around. He and my dad, Bob Wack had so much fun working on the baseball clinic programs. He brought us all smiles every time he was around.

Wonderful memories from all our New York baseball trips. Great man, got to know him better as time went on. So sorry for his loss. He is missed.
