So sorry to hear this.
He was a good man

As kids in the 1960’s, a visit from Pete was a big deal. Man, he was cool. I’m talkin’ secret agent cool, only cooler. Tall, lean, smiling, confident, articulate and sunglasses. I wear aviators to this day remembering Pete. He wore them when he waterskied! He was special to my whole family and was my little sister’s first crush, he treated her like a princess. One time, he was on our boat for a big excursion from Cleveland to Detroit. He laid all of Dad’s lines out on deck and back spliced...

Oh Lezlie....I just heard about Pete's passing and my heart is broken, for you, his family and for the loss of such a great guy!! I'm sure he and Larry are up there swapping some crazy lake stories - if there is a "time out" in Heaven, those 2 are in there-HA. As you celebrate Pete's life, please accept my deepest sympathy in his passing. I'm here for you my friend - whatever you need.

We were very honored to know Pete and Lezlie through our dear friend Pat Trompeter. We have fond memories of nights in Catawba cooking fresh fish that Pete cooked to perfection.. Gary and I are so thankful we were able to spend time in march in Naples with Pete and a Lezlie. My fondest last memory was dancing after dinner and Pete had a smile from ear to ear.. He made us feel special and the feeling was mutual. RIH our dear friend . We will cherish our times together..

Peter, was a dear friend, When I was appointed Chief of Police, for the Chagrin Falls Police Department, Pete introduced himself to my wife and I and we became instant friends! Our families enjoyed many dinners and social events throughout the years. We went hunting together and stayed in tough throughout the years!! Peter and his family shall be in our thoughts and prayers!
