Not sure what to say?

Great guy, good friend the marathon man.

SORRY PETE AND FAMILY, I KNOW I'M A LITTLE LATE ON THE OBITUARY COMMENTS. I ATTENDED THE WAKE AND FUNERAL OF MY GOOD FRIEND THOUGH. PETE, YOU WILL ALWAYS BE MISSED BY MANY. YOU WERE A GREAT RUNNER, AND ONE TOUGH BOXER. MY SINCERE CONDOLENCES GO OUT TO YOUR FAMILY. REST IN PEACE MY GOOD BUDDY.

To Pete, his mother and his son. Your son and father left this earth much too early. Although he has passed over, Pete now has the peace he desperately needed. He is safe with God and the angels and he will forever smile down on his loved ones and those lucky enough to have been his friends.
Sincerely,

To Pete's Family,

My very deepest condolences ...

I worked w/ Pete on the CPD (Mass Transit and Academy). He was one of the most qualified police officers and supervisers on the job -- a good cop in every way but an even better person all around.
The world is less with out him.

God bless you, my dear friend Pete. Thanks for all the good times and laughs. Thanks for being such a real person. And thanks for the sacrifices you made for so many...

my condolance

I am saddened to hear of Peter's death.

His family is in my prayers.

I was saddened to learn Peter passed away. We worked together in the 20 District an again in the Chicago Police Academy gym for 15 years or more. His running ability was an inspiration to the lifes he touched. The recruites nicknamed him the "rabbit" for his running ability. He was always a gentalman and will be missed.

Pete and I worked together in 020 and then at the Academy. I remember Pete as always being a gentleman and as a gifted and very disciplined competitive runner. When we had the first State-wide Olympics, Pete led the field in the mile and 3.2 mile races and ran to victoy in each race. He was a positive role model for the recruits. Sorry for you loss.

I am shocked, and so sorry to hear that Pete passed away. He was always a real gentleman, with way too short a life. He was a nice part of my memories of the Chicago Police Academy. I used to stop by to see him whenever I was down there. God bless all of you, and comfort you on your tremendous loss. He was one of Chicago's Very Finest!

Sincerely,
