Not sure what to say?

Pete was by far the most capable and intellegent police liaison I worked with in my 22 years at DHHS. He'd take if dinner time at our house and we'd have pizza and fries, and a lot of fun. And he was an A+ Detective who had a great gut instinct. Miss him......

Still think of Pete often. Hope Barb and the "kids" are doing well. There was never a dull moment working with him. He was sure to make his opinion known. He was a good man and a good friend.

Pete was my best buddy in St Charles Mo we were both Sheriff Deputies. We went to Cardinal games, were in the police academy together
. RIP my friend

Hi Barb. Hope you and Dan and Kate are doing well. Dan is probably a lawyer now, and Kate on her way to being a Doctor ? I often still think pf Pete. He was absolutely the best PD liason we ever had; he was the perfect combination of police and social worker, and was always there when we needed him. let me know how the kids and you are doing ? -Denny

Can't believe it will soon be 4 years since we lost Peter. He was an absolute one of a kind. He will always be missed.

Sorry to just hear of Peter's passing.I Remember him from back in our Holy Trinity School days through Somersworth High School. Great memories of great times with a great classmate friend.

Barb. I just learned of Pete's passing on today. My condolences and prayers for you and your family. I worked with Pete in Somersworth "back in the day."

Sad news.
Condolences to the Wentworth family - good neighbors from our Somerworth days.

I worked with Pete for about 21 years at the Portland Police Dept. He was a great guy as everyone already knows. He was always up front about what was on his mind and he was as dependable as the day is long.. Most people know how much he enjoyed his career and how dear he held his family. I had a few conversations over the years with Pete and one that really sticks out is when he decided to turn down the promotion he was given at PPD because it would have meant a loss of time with Barb, Kate...
