Not sure what to say?

I love this person and I was not even there to know him

Even though Pete was part of the Great Class of 1965, he was fondly remembered at Class of 1963 reunion last month by those who knew him. Those who touch the lives of others with kindness are never forgotten.

I received Peter's name in church yesterday, as each member picked a name to pray for throughout the week, and am amazed but what a funny, loving, wonderful, and kind person Mr. West was. His family seems strong and genuine - a mark of someone who (along with Mrs. West) knew how to be a great parent). God Bless you, West Family - I am praying for you.

I still remember your cheery voice over the phone as we talked about stocks and bonds. Although we never met in person, I still felt like I knew you and I miss those phone calls. RIP, Peter West.

Whenever 9/11 comes up, I remember you. It doesn't seem like 10 years. RIP

Dear Peter and family, my thoughts and prayers are with you all today and will be forever. I received your name today and a ribbon to wear to celebrate and honor you when I arrived at the high school where I work with the deaf/hh in St. Louis, Mo. I wanted to find out a little about you to honor you and pray for your family. Your legacy lives on and remember God so loved the world he gave his only Son, and those who believe will not perish but have everlasting life..we will be...

It will be ten years in a month ortwo since you were taken from us.I suffered a debilitating injury that Tuesday morningas wellRegardless of how much time has passed You will remain in our hearts.America will rebound from these attacks because it is comprised of souls like yours.

Today news was about the victims of 9/11. During the roll call of names I heard a familiar name from my past High School days at Madison High ... Peter West. I thought there are probably hundreds of Peter Wests. Something just didn't feel right so I went on line. I cant tell you how upsetting it was when I confirmed it was Pete from Madison. May God hold his and your hand. The pain never goes away, the images never fade, and the loss of a high school friend is ...

I never met Peter. I moved into his old neighborhood in Pottersville two years after that "awful day". We have a memorial in the park by the gazebo with his name on it. Every year I assume a family member places a mum by the memorial to commemorate Peter's life. This year the deer have gotten hold of the mum but I want to let the family know that we have replaced the mum and will spray and water it and keep it alive in Peter's memory. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Peter's...
