Not sure what to say?

FiFi, It has been a long time since the days in Connecticut but have thought about you folks often. Really sorry to learn of Pete's passing. I admired him. Our condolences to you, the children and grandchildren.

FiFi,

JJ and I are so very sorry to hear of Pete's passing. I know you and JJ have already spoken on the phone, but wanted to let you know just how sorry I am as well. I will always remember our times together in Key West with such great fondness. I once read a passage that said, "To live on in the hearts of those we leave behind is not to die." Pete will live on in the hearts of many....

FiFi & Family, Our days in Park West & Key West seem so long ago, but we remember Pete as a devoted family man & great Naval Aviator. May you all find comfort in all the memories you shared. You remain in my prayers as Pete continues to fly in the heavens.

Fi, I am here for you and your family and hope I can do something in our gardens at Grace as a tribute to all of you. Jean

When (then) Cdr Westby-Gibson was CO of VF-45 in Key West, I had the pleasure of serving as his Command Master Chief. He was a skilled "Top Gun" pilot and a great boss. He and I shared an exceptionally good relationship. He even allowed me to privately call him "Pee-Wee." To the family, you have my deepest sympathy. I share your loss.

ABCM (Ret.) Horace E. Simon, USN

FiFi and family,
Roy and I were so sadden to read of your loss.(I often asked Captain Ryan about you both) We have so many fond memories of VF 45 in Key with you and Captain Westby-Gibson, soccer games, squadron picnics, lunch at the Rooftop in Mallory Square. He was a real "people person" and so easy to talk to. Those memories will last a lifetime. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love you

Elliott and Corazon

May your hearts be filled with the wonderful memories that he left with us all. It was an honor to serve with you both Fifi. I will never forget my first Fantasy Fest in Key West. May God heal your heart.

Fifi, we are saddened to hear of your loss. I am so happy to have served with and known Pete. May you and your children and grandchildren enjoy peace and comfort. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
