Peter Whitman

Farewell my good friend for so many years.

Peter Whitman was a good friend, excellent raconteur, architectural renderer and more. One of his last paintings was a request by me of a New England scene, with an observer in a blimp floating serenely above. Farewell my dear friend.

He wrote to me frequently while I was in Iraq, and sent me a copy of The Apocrypha. He didn't have to. I didn't get to spend enough time with him, and will regret it bitterly. I will remember him as the personification of mirth, and raise a glass to his new beginning. Godspeed, sir.

Dearest friend, Artist, Architect, talented story teller, humorist - Peter Whitman was a rare human being. So funny and wonderful in so many ways!! My family enjoyed his company for many years and are very grateful for those years. It is a shame that we did not get to spend many more years with Peter. RIP dear friend - we will always miss you!
