Not sure what to say?

I served with Pete at La Base Americain a Dreux-Senonches, and for a time had we adjoining BOQs. I saw him only once after that when I stopped by to visit on my way from Missoula (I taught then at the U there) to San Francisco and saw he was on his way to success, something I had always expected would happen. We did communicate every ten or twenty years or so, but that was all. I was so impressed by him that I made him a major character in my Reve Americain novel. He said he enjoyed reading...

I knew Peter from our membership at Colombia Edgewater Golf Club. Several years ago my wife and I attended a PGA Golf Tournament in Vancouve, BC, and Peter and his wife joined us to gallery our son, who was playing in the event. He was a special friend, and we enjoyed many golf rounds together, and great conversations following. We also, visited our good friend Dean Burch at his home north of Vancouver, Washington, on the day prior to his death. Dean was terminally ill and Peter and I...

Peter and my mother were first cousins and we spent every Christmas morning with him and Trude and children. There has never been such a dear and loving man....his presence will be sorely missed in this world . I loved him dearly.

Mr Williams, who I affectionately called, Uncle George, because of his fondness for the New York Yankees, welcomed me into his family 43 years ago. Over the years, Uncle George was a father, friend, mentor, and so much more. Uncle George gave me the best advice of my life, go to college. He prepared me for life. He fostered Mark's and I love for baseball and basketball. I can talk forever about Uncle George, his kindness, protection, and greatness as a man. I am forever grateful for him...

I grew up in Eastmoreland and was a childhood friend of Christy's. Peter was a warm and caring father with a very distinctive laugh. He was comfortable in the chaos of a group of Campfire Girls in the living room.

Peter was such a unique, intelligent, open minded, kind, lovely human being. I am very lucky to have had three decades of joyous friendship, shared humor and careful, thoughtful financial guidance. He was deeply curious about the world and enjoyed discussing the arts and Burning Man. Peter was also an excellent teacher. I am so grateful for our friendship and enjoyed every minute I spent with him. It was an extraordinary honor to know Peter Williams. Photo: Peter, Paul and Tinh (12-8-17)

What a wonderful man.

Peter Williams was one of the true gentlemen in the financial services industry. Our many conversations over the years will be long remembered and his warmth of friendship truly missed. Sincere condolences to his caring family. Chuck
