Not sure what to say?

Blessings to the Z family.

I only met Pete once but I always admired him as a person that had drive and determination to accomplish what he did. His life was a true Alaskan rags to riches story.

Fondest memories of Pete and his shannanigans with Frank Jones. He had a huge heart and many laughs were shared over lunch. My deepest sympathy and my prayers go out to his family.

I am saddened to hear of the loss of Pete Z, he, was one of a kind. He was a kind and jolly man. He helped many Alaskans start there businesses when no one else could help. I always enjoyed my friend Pete Z, May he rest in peace.

Love and prayers to Z family!!!! Zamarello Cristo and panagia, will have they wings open to welcome you in paradise, rest in peace!!!! You will be miss by us.......,

I research Kefalonian families, and started to work on Peter's ancestry past couple of weeks. On his mother's side he is part of the Vasilatos-Mitarozos clan. Peter (Panagis) I wish you safe journey. To Peter's loved ones, my condolences. Lets remember Peter's many contributions.

I sat next to Pete Zamarello on a flight from Anchorage to Seattle in 1977. He gave me some advice about life that I took to heart (I was 21). Our paths never crossed again, but he made such an impression on me that I remembered him all these years. My condolences to the family. The guy knew how to live.

Our condolences to Pat, Carol, and family. Pete was one of the most complicated individuals I have ever met. I met him over 40 years ago and he had a personality that was bigger than life. He loved to tell a good joke in one breath and close a multimillion dollar deal in the next breath. He was my boss, best man at our wedding, and a friend. Rest in Peace.

Pete was my mentor when I first started in Alaska. I will never forget him. My warm regards to Pat and Carol.
