Not sure what to say?

May God be with you all at this sad time. You are all in my prayers. Memories are wonderful. Love and hugs

So sorry for your loss. Heaven just got another angel. May you rest in peace Peter you so deserve it.

Dear Darlene & Family, Such sad news. Pete was a special person and I will always remember him with much fondness. My sincere sympathies to you and your family. Please know that you are in my prayers. XO

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Peter and your Family have been an important part of the Hewitson Family as wonderful friends and neighbors for many years. Take care.

I always enjoyed that he named one of his seiners "Intruder". Especially liked the "jumper" painted on the bridge. It was fun fishing around them in the good old days. From a competitive generation of skippers he was always nice to chat with on the docks.

We would like to send our deepest sympathies to Cheryl and Alec and the whole family.

Let `er go, Cap! And tow that sein net all the way to eternity! Lime Kiln will never be the same.

Pete was a Great fisherman which in turn he taught his son John to be one in the same!Pete taught me alot of what to do right on the boat and what wasnt right he was a Great teacher of fishing and loving his family, our families have been friends since i was born john and i have been best of friends our whole life, both our families got together alot,Pete will surely be missed!

Pete was a good hard working man who was devoted to his family and had a good heart. Last saw him at our 70th BHS class reunion. Lived a long life in Bellingham and respected by all who knew him. Condolences to Darlene and the Zankich family.
