I can't say how happy I am the my Dad and I got in a visit with Pete on Sunday before his passing. He was a special friend to my Dad and I am very honored to have spent some time with him. Pete and I shared a love and admiration for our WWII veterans and met up at a reunion for the USS Indianapolis.
