I've met Payton on-line 10 years ago, he was known as LvT back on the CDV forum. He, amongst others helped me deal with my most darkest/frivolous teenage years.
I would not be here today if it wasn't for him.
LvT, i will truly miss you mate.

Like several others who have signed here, I did not know Peyton personally, only through his wonderfully witty and eloquent posts and comments as "p_mouse," but his is a great loss and my deepest sympathies are with his family and friends at this time.

I will certainly miss the wonderful writer I knew as p_mouse, he was gracious, eloquent and funny. Please know that I was so deeply moved by his writing and though I didn't 'know' him, I will miss him.

Gracie (our 16 year old dog) and I still expect him to come to the door, still wait for his next blog as "p mouse" on crasstalk.com still have his books here to reread. His sister Katherine Brooks is Pastor of Emanuel African Methodist Episocopal Church at 21 Valley Place, New Rochelle, NY, 10801, where his service was held, is his charity of choice. We've been together since 1990; still hard to believe the clock so quickly stopped. Bless all those who contacted, and knew him too.

I also met Peyton at St As - he taught me a great deal - I still have a poem he wrote for me which I will always treasure. Although I had not seem him in a very long time I will always remember the times we shared fondly.
