Phebe Ann made a lasting impression on my mother and father, who stayed at her bed and breakfast several times during trips to New England in the mid 80s and 90s. They struck up a pen-pal friendship, and my mom treasured those letters so much that she kept them in a special box. As president of Pen Women in Vermont, it was an honor to have her in our group. She has left an amazing legacy because of her many contributions and the memories she created for all of us.
