Phelon J. Malouf

What wonderful tributes there are in this guest book! Thanks to everyone. I so miss my beloved grandpa!

I loved our visit our visits to Salt Lake City and the opportunity to raid Uncle Phelons raspberry patch...he was truly a gift to many lives. Sharing kibbie up on a moutain trail with his favorite veiw of SLC...IOur family is much richer for having him love us...there was never any doubt the unconditional love he felt for us all. He will continue to influence the world in a loving and positive way through all the lives he touched....thank you for sharing him with me.

My class and I used to visit with Phelon and Bea on a monthly basis when they lived at St. Joseph's Villa several years ago. They were always so pleasant, courteous, and kind and took a true interest in my students. He and Bea made a big difference in our lives. Phelon was such an interesting and inspiring person. We will miss him!

My Uncle Phelon, I will always remember your kindness and and encouragement to do my best. You rest now dear one.

With Phelon in mind, someone once said: "One of the most valuable gifts is the patient persuasion of selfless love, enduring the hardships of many years."

The world has lost a kind and wonderful man in Phelon's passing. He and Bea were so supportive of me and my family when our grandparents' (Wesley and Louise Baker Pearce) health declined. I have never forgotten how kind they were to me. Please accept my deepest sympathy at this difficult time.

With all of the things that we needed to do after our father's death, we committed a serious oversight in that we didn't acknowledge Inspiration Hospice in dad's obituary. We want to thank them for all of their caring and concern in our father's last days and for everything they have done for both of our parents.

I am sorry hear about Dr.Malouf's passing. He was an acquaintance of my father, Leslie Davis, and was my guidance counselor at the U. I got to know him quite well. My father worked with Mr. Baker at Fish Lake for a good number of years. It seems like there is rather a close connection between our families. I'm truly sorry for your loss.

Dear Phelon, my valued professor, mentor, and friend, I thank you daily for reminding me that to be a good counselor one must first be a good listener.
