You know, Flip and Jeanne were the absolute best. Jeanne made wonderful chocolate chip cookies and became a surrogate mom for me, and Flip taught me to sail - which I've actively done the last 50 years. How blessed was I to have been loved by them!

Flip and Jean (for it is impossible to think of either of them without the other) were our neighbors and friends for the past 15 years. We watched Michigan football, talked politics, shared a glass of wine. They represented retirement in the best sense – an opportunity to be more involved in the community and enjoy time together in their shared interests.
