Not sure what to say?

To Sheila Bjorlo, sons, and family ~ How very sorry I was to hear of Phil's death. Back in the Alex Recital/W.Bennett days we had a successful run. Phil was always an absolutely generous and loving person. My sympathy to you all. May you heal with care. Judith Nordin

Kenmore Jr High and Washington-Lee High School School,Phil led us all through those six years as our ever faithful and so competent Student Council Rep, Vice-President and President. We knew there would be even greater heights in his future. He will be missed. DMH Class of 1966, W-L

So sorry to hear about Phil´s passing. He was an impressive individual, good friend to so many and great crew supporter even going to England to root us on! My condolences to his family. He will be greatly missed. David Gustafson

I am much saddened by Phil's death. If I recall correctly, and at this age that becomes a great concern, Phil was with the W&L Crew in Great Britain for the Henley though not an active rower. I have two special memories of Phil. First, I met up with him after the Henley while we toured Europe. We and another classmate, Charlie Bittenger, toured Switzerland together, eschewing Hotels and youth Hostels, sleeping in a zoo and under a Bridge near a church on Saturday evening in sleeping bags...

My deepest condolences to his family. I have many memories of Phil.

I live in South Carolina, removed from Arlington and haven't seen Phil since our last reunion. Saddened to hear that Phil has passed. I'm sure he will be missed, but at 75, he, as well as the rest of us, are counting the days when we will join him again.
