I am feeling the loss, though I did not get to meet Phil in person. We worked remotely for McClatchy-Tribune News Service before Tribune took it over entirely in about 2015. Always a gentleman by email. I wish I had gotten an opportunity to meet him in person. I can tell he will be greatly missed by many former colleagues as well as his family. God bless all.
