Not sure what to say?

Jay was the first person I knew with a basketball court in his back yard. He invited me to come play one-on-one or two-on-two often. Probably why I progressed enough to make the high school team later. We also were work colleagues on the first paying job I ever had...sweeping out Newman Elementary after school when we were in 9th grade. He had a good time playing broom hockey in the far hall where the boss couldn't see or hear us!

Marilyn and Barbara, I was sorry to hear about Jay.You are in my thoughts and prays

I loved Jay. I can't say enough nice things about him. He was super smart, a fine athlete and a person who had very high personal character. Jay was extremely idealistic, and set high standards for himself. Although Jay was a class ahead of me in school, we lived down the street from each other, belonged to the same church ward and played on many sports teams together. As teenagers we'd talk for hours. My memories of him go back a long, long way. I remember when Jay ran for student council...

Marilyn and Barbara, I am so sorry to hear of Jay's passing. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your families at this time.

Jay was always so sweet to me when I went over to see him with Mom and Dad. I remember after family get togethers Mom would always have us put a big plate of food together for him. He was always so excited to get it. He will be dearly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this rough time. May the Lord bless you with peace and comfort. Love ya

Marilyn & Barbara Sorry to hear about Jay's passing. He was one of the cool cousins. I'm sure he's enjoying being with Aunt Lola and Uncle Phil and all the other Aunts and Uncles again. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with both of you and your families. Love ya Alan and Linda(Fritsch)Bain

Jay was a good friend all through school. I lost track of him around 1980 and often wondered about him. How I wish I had made a better effort to get in touch. I remember playing basketball with him for hours in his backyard. He was one of the first to have his own court!
