Phil was one of my closest friends, we knew each other since grade school, played music together in a couple bands, traveled together in that endeavor and enjoyed many interesting and wonderful adventures for a number of years until Phil decided to return to school, ultimately ending up at GE and enjoyed a 37 year career with that company. We spoke often and kept in touch as he moved from Cincy to Dallas, et al until he and Debbie ended up in South Carolina.

Phil and I were lucky enough to be part of a very tight, loving, creative, musical and funny friends group in our high school years in the late 60's and early 70´s. I have an especially warm memory of he and my then boyfriend Greg Kottman and me driving Greg´s B3 organ to a concert at EKU for Jethro Tull to use, with me on a stool in the middle of their front seats in Greg´s Volkswagon van (so dangerous!). Phil was a friend of my big brother and sister. And he was a bandmate of my big brother. He was an integral part of the Entourage that I used to enjoy being around the house when I was a kid. I remember him having a good sense of humor. He came to Jamaica with my family when I was 10, so I think he was 16, and we have some funny videos of him!
