Not sure what to say?

Kris, Nolan and Liam,
I have not had the pleasure of meeting you, but I went to High School with Phil. We reconnected a few months ago.
I am saddened by his passing but inspired by the way he lived his life. From all the comments I have read about Phil from his friends and co-workers, it is clear that he lived his life with the same enthusiasm and great sense of humor he showed us all at Granada High School. I am a better person for having known him.

Phil was my "sports guy" way back when (in addition to one cameraman) we were the only newsroom staff for the Saturday edition of KPTV's Ten O'Clock News. He kept me laughing through all the chaos and his passing is a huge loss. But how wonderful that his legacy will last through his family and friends. Bless you Kris, Nolan and Liam.

Kristin, Nolan & Liam,

I will always treasure the time I spent with Phil, which unfortunately wasn't that often in recent years. Phil was one of the greatest. He was a joy to be around. I'm not sure I have ever met a more positive person in my life. The world will be a poorer place without Phil's spirit.

Kristin, Nolan and Liam,
Our office has been saddened by the death of Phil. He always had a comfortable and uplifting presence. You could see that his boys were always his joy. He was always positive when talking about his job opportunities. I was disappointed when he left "Good Day Oregon." He was always such a gentleman and smiled through all the months of his illness.
May Jesus grant you peace and comfort as you pass through each day knowing Phil is rejoicing in His...

Life was meant to be lived the way Phil did. With lots of love for his family and friend's. And lots of laughter! If you can be blessed to have 1/10 of the personality of Phil's, you too will have a great life.
I'm sure you are still getting all the laughs sitting at Gods table!

Phil - We will always miss you. You touched more people's lives than you will ever know. It was a true pleasure working with you at Good Day Oregon. We were all like a family and you were the funny brother. Thank you for all you did to make everyone smile daily.
God Bless you and keep smiling down on us from heaven.
Melissa

Kris, I'm sorry I couldn't have been there for the service. I have been thinking about all the good times I had with Phil in the old sports office. I will keep those memories with me always. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the boys.

What a beautiful service for Phil, it offered a great lesson on how to live your life. My thoughts are with all of you.

Kris – The Memorial Service today for Phil was a wonderful tribute to the kind of man he was to so many. We are thankful for the opportunity we had to attend and share with others the "Celebration of Victory in Christ” that the Family Minister, Bob Fossum, spoke of.
We love you,
Uncle Dick & Aunt Donna
