WEBB, PHIL, Age 52 of Sachse, TX, entered heaven due to kidney failure on Thanksgiving Day. He was a pastor beyond church walls to all who knew him. He was a worshiper and an accomplished musician. Phil was a humble, wise man who had the gift to see and encourage God's giftings in others. During...

Not sure what to say?

Hello Wanda,

Wanda and I loved Phil so very much and still do. We love you too and bless you in Jesus' Name. Phil was such a blessing with his jolly spirit. We should have kept him on as music leader at Liberty. Come and see us or call us or email us. ph 850 390 4131

Wanda,
I'm so sorry. Jeff Kilgore called me Sunday to tell me about Phil's death and I couldn't believe it. It still hasn't sunk in. I will miss him. There was always something comforting knowing that Phil was always available if I needed him.
Love,
Andy and Martha Creel

Wanda, I don't believe we ever met but I'm a Headland High School (East Point) friend of Phil's. At one time we sang together in a small group we called The Nameless Eight, as well as the chorus. I always wondered where Phil had settled. I married my Headland sweetheart Freddy Reeves and he too passed away very young (53) in 2002. I say from personal experience that the road is rocky but gets smoother with time. Everything happens for a reason - be watching for the signs and the doors to...

Wanda,

Georganne and I went to Headland High School in East Point with Phil and his brother Wayne. We all were involved in the music department in some way.

Although we have not seen Phil since High School days, we have kept up with him from a distance, aware that he too was in ministry. For over 30 years I have been a minister of music. My wife and I serve a Baptist Church in Athens, GA where we have been for 17+ years.

As we remember, Phil had a gentle...

We remember Phil fondly from high school days. Just last week we discovered that our friends Dwight & Kay Bennett knew Phil. We were shocked to discover that he had died. We thank God for his life lived for Jesus. You are in our prayers.

Wanda, I was so sorry to hear of your great loss. My heart goes out to you and Phil's family. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers. Brenda

Wanda, my friend. We were at our Thanksgiving table with our children and family, speaking of our longtime friendship with you, and of Phil's illness. We said a prayer for you, and the Kids remembered that you had made Christmas stockings for them over twenty years ago. We still hang those on the mantle. Phil, his wonderful laugh, and annointed ministry, will not be forgotten, and our hearts ache for your loss. We love you so much.

I just want you to know, that Tracy, Chuck, Tyler and I loved Phil very much, and will miss him. He was a true man of God. He was also a true friend.
He touched so many lives, in so many ways. His wisdom, and caring attitude will always be remembered by us. Those that he helped educate; including my boys, will always be burned in our memory of Phil. Funloving, jovial, but yet blunt, made him who he was.
He will be missed by many. Our prayers are with you today and...

Wanda, I am so sorry. Words can't say what a wonderful person Phil was. He was a true friend and that is a very rare thing. My life was better for knowing him. I love you.
