Today I learned about the passing of our family's long time dentist, Dr. Phillip. In my opinion you could not find a more honest or kind man in this entire world. I once had what I thought was a toothache that turned out to be a sensitive tooth. Dr. Abood was one of the finest people I have ever known. I worked for him for 21 1/2 years. He taught me everything I know about dentistry. He was a kind and patient teacher. He had the answer to practically anything you can imagine asking. I have so many fond memories of him and I can close my eyes and still picture him standing there at my desk talking to me about the patients we were about to see. We went to Dr Abood from the time we arrived in Jax in 1967 until his retirement and always appreciated his prefessionalism and efficiency. I was especially touched when he went to the nursing home where my mom was to care for a broken tooth...a house call in this day and age!! He was a very nice man and I know his family will miss him.

We were so saddened to hear of Dr Abood's passing. We saw Dr. William yesterday and he informed us of his nephew's death.
