Not sure what to say?

I remember the party Bruce and I had for Melissa's wedding with all the Canadian relatives and her Dad Phillip Abraham and Mom Patti & family. Phillip loved the special de-caf coffee I served and I found him such a kind and wonderful person. In Loving memory of Phillip and Patti Mary-Werner Svinth

Uncle Phil...You will forever be in my memories! Love you!
Niece: Andrea Abraham McGrady

Phil, We just got back from picking your marker. We didn't have much to do because you had it all figured out even to the measurements. We hope this will be a great marker for a great man. I miss you a lot and each day I wish you were still with me but like you said I will remain strong and hold my chin up high--I love you and always will--Patrice

This week I was at All Saints planning the funeral for my father who passed away and heard about Judge Abraham's passing. Stepping out of my car in the church parking lot, I had flashbacks of my school days at All Saints. The one that is still very clear in my mind was the day the Phil came to my mother's rescue after falling and scraping herself badly on the black top while playing in the Mother/daughter 8th grade softball game. My mother passed a few years ago but she always commented on...

Dear uncle Phil.... You were an amazing man, father, uncle, grandfather ... And Judge!! I am so lucky to have known you and learned from you! Thank you for being such an amazing person! Everyone will miss you terribly....

Cherished memories are with me forever...
My first trip to Portland at the age of 19 without my parents (not my last) and staying with you and Patti. 0h, such fun and laughter.
Our trips to the beach. The cousin parties you had for us when we would come to visit. Going to the football games when the Griz played at Portland State. Seeing the smile on your face when we'd bring you a Griz t-shirt each visit. Your trips to Butte, Missoula, Rock Creek, and Spokane. The unconditional support...

Phil had an easy way of making everyone feel special. He always invited you in with kindness and grace, and for me the melody and words to "Mona Lisa". My thought are with Patti and the family as they heal from his loss and continue living his legacy.

I had the good fortune to be Judge Abraham's court reporter for 13 years, and it was so wonderful to be in the presence daily of a man who loved life, loved his family, and truly loved the people around him. A star went out in the sky, but there's a new angel in heaven watching over us!

I miss you, Phil and I will always love you. Please watch over me and the family.
You left us too soon but you had a peaceful death just like you lived your life. You will always be with me. Patrice
