Hello. My name is Marcel Sislowitz and I came across Philip’s death notice in the Times. When I was a kid in the early ‘50’s my parents used to rent a small efficiency apartment on the boardwalk in Long Beach NY for the summer. Phil opened a small portrait studio in the building next door. It was a tiny space but it offered enough room for an easel and sitting chair in the front which faced out onto the boardwalk.
