Phil was my friend for many years. I met him in the UW graphic design classes. He was always interesting to me with a totally different perspective. He did teach me a lot about the outdoors and fly fishing for trout on the Yakima River and observing the World from his point of view. We spent many weekends with Jupe (Jupiter) and Misty exploring parts of Eastern Washington and the Olympic Peninsula. Phil was admired and loved by the entire Cascade Fisheries family and is sorely missed.
