When the Aronsons came to Longview in "46, they settled on our block of 25th Avenue, across the street from my Mother and I. Phil and I were about the same age, and we became friends, sparing partners on occasion, and general neighborhood pests. And our Mothers became good friends too, having much in common including rambunctious sons.
