Love you, Didi!!! Remembering the time we spent at Northeastern when we were in our early teens with your dad. We went to work with him and had free run of whatever area of the school we were in, and I remember feeling so free and grown up on the college campus! I want to extend my most sincere sympathy to all the family especially to his wife, Sandra, and his daughters, Kirsten, Jill and Diana and his stepdaughters, Tracie and Jen as well as the grandchildren.

I knew Phil many years ago and I had not seen him in many years but I remember his smile and his way and I am so sorry that he is no longer with us.

Professor Backstrom was one of the best teachers that I remember from all my school years. Was at NU in late 1960s.
