What wonderful memories I have of Mr. Barnes. So sorry for the families loss.

To- Helen, Beth, Steve and Pete.. I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Phil. I will always remember him as a very kind and welcoming man. He had such a wonderful smile that made me feel that he was really happy to see me. Phil will be missed by everyone who knew him. May his memory of being such a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother in law, uncle, bring you peace and happiness.. Love, Peggie

Pete,

Sorry for your loss.

This was aw great man to our family.my brothers in sports.in the passing of my owen father he help us out in our time of need u will be missed dearly but never never forgotten the cole.

Mr Barnes was the first and only coach I had that would really make you feel like you were apart of the team. He had that magnified personality of making everyone feel they belonged on our teams back in the day. I will never forget the times spent on and off the field at Candycane park with him and his sons Steve and lil Pete. Last but not least his wife Helen and daughter Beth are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless the Barnes family at this time of sorrow.

Donna and I are deeply sorry for your loss. He was truly a friend of ours. I enjoyed playing tennis, golf and attending morning coffee with him. He will be missed by all that knew him.
