*PHILIP BARROWS, JR. *age 47 of Howe, Indiana passed away Friday afternoon December 5, 2008 in Colon Township due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He was born April 2, 1961 in Sturgis, Michigan a son to Philip & Jaqueline (Johnson) Barrows, Sr.

Philip was a lifelong resident of Howe, Indiana. He had been employed by Patrick’s Cabinet Factory in Elkhart, Indiana for 23 years and had also worked for 7 years at the Super Value Store in Orland, Indiana.

He enjoyed bahaing and spending time with his children.

Philip is survived by his parents, Philip & Jaqueline Barrows of Orland, Indiana, One Daughter; Heather Barrows, Two Sons; Eric Barrows and Ryan Barrows all of Howe, Indiana, One Sister; Diana (Richard) Cruea of Howe, Indiana, his loving companion; Barb Swartz of Howe, Indiana, his former wife; Marsha Barrows of Howe, Indiana, five Nieces, 4 Great Nieces, 1 Great Nephew and several cousins.

In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating the life of Philip Barrows, Jr. will be held at 11:00 AM. Tuesday at the Sturgis Salvation Army 105 N. Fourth St, Sturgis. Captain William Bruebaker and Pastor Brett Danielson will officiate.

The *Hackman Family Funeral Homes – Hackman Chapel, 114 S. Nottawa St., Sturgis* is handling the arrangements.

The family suggests those wishing to make a memorial donation in Philip’s memory consider the Sturgis Salvation Army, 105 N. Fourth St., Sturgis, MI 49091. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
