To the Berger family, I grew up in the Rockaway's, where back in the early 1960"s "everybody knew your name"! Such it was with my recognition of Phil. We had (& still have) many mutual friends.Never heard a bad thing about Phil..only the BEST! May he rest in peace & know he will not be forgotten! Ken Leif

I worked with Phil at The New York Fire Department and knew him for many years. His Family was everything to him, as he always talked about them. While we worked in 2 different units, I also enjoyed seeing him when he had to be at FDNY headquarters. Phil, I will miss you my friend.
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family in their time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
