Mr Blevins Was a great little league baseball coach at lanham boys and girls club I won championship with him I wasn't a starter but his coaching talent made me a better player I still look at my tram picture from 1975 . I was the only negro player on the team and I experienced no Racial problems ever I was excepted like family where as racism was rampant in those days. Phil was a great leader at Merrill Lynch. He and I served together as District Directors. I admired Phil for the tremendous culture that he created at ML. His "Wild Kingdom" was well known throughout the firm. He was a fierce competitor and a great motivator of all those who came in touch with him. He lead all to greatness including me. Thank you Phil.
