Dr. Blitz was by far the best primary care physician I ever had. He was kind beyond measure. When I moved away from the west side, I had to find a new doctor, and no one could replace Dr. Blitz. Over the years, I have never forgot my favorite doctor. I recall his love of Western pleasure riding. Happy trails to Dr. Blitz. May he rest in peace.

Marie, Beth and I send our condolences to you and your family. When I came to Cleveland to work in 1984 Phil was one of the first doctors to greet me. He was the whole package--great diagnostician, energetic, funny, and loved by all who know him. He will be greatly missed. I was so saddened to hear the news of his passing. Dear, sweet Marie, Phil was an amazing man and a wonderful human being. He was a great doctor and friend to Harvey, and he will be missed terribly. Dr. Blitz, you were a wonderful Dr. to your patients and I loved working with you at Ohio Medical Group. He would look at me down the hall and say "B, two reds and a purple" and I knew which tubes of blood to draw on every patient. You had a contagious laugh and made my days so enjoyable working with you. I love to call you when you were out at the barn with your horses when a patient needed refills on a prescription and I always asked "how your horses were doing that day". You were so...
