I remember going to Cedar Grove one time when I was upset with Sonny. Dad quietly took me aside. He reminded me that we had come to have a nice visit with Mom B. and himself. Dad told me I probably had ever reason to be upset but to leave it and pick it back up later when we left. Dad could have made be feel like a brat or been angry with me.
