Not sure what to say?

Inge - Thanks for your call last week. Our hearts go out to you, Karen and Paul for the these long last months with Phil. He was the nicest one of the bunch here in Sunnyside, NY. Our jazz evenings in the East Village, weekends at Jones' Beach are just some of our fondest memories - until the Korean War years brought them to an end. Mickey and Nesbitt Garmendia

It was my privilege to have worked for Phil for a number of years at Pratt and found him to be the best boss a person could have. He was soft spoken, kind, intelligent and a true professional. My deepest sympathies to the Bowdre family.

Inge< I just heard that your wonderful Phil passed away. My deepest condolences are with you and your family. He was a kind and loving man and he will be sorely missed. Mary Ann Lundgren

My deep and sincere sympathy is extended to the Bowdre family. Phil was a gentleman of the first rank, and I still smile when I think of the good times we all shared as families "back when".

Although I didn't know Phil personally I certainly wish I would have especially since everyone has such wonderful things to say about him. To his family .... My sincerest condolences during your moments of sorrow. May your faith sustain you during this difficult time.

Phil was such a gentleman. It was a real privilege to have shared many wonderful occasions together. Phil was always ready, willing and able to be kind to all of his friends and we are honored to have known him.

Phil Bowdre was one of the very nicest, professional, intelligent people that I know and I'm proud to have known him. His family is part of my family, now and forever.
