I am a friend of Pat's and met Flip through her. I knew from the very first time I talked to him that he was a very special human being. His caring and generous nature were obvious and I loved his sense of humor. There was never a time I was talking with him that he didn't have a couple of jokes or amusing stories to tell - if I wasn't laughing, I was smiling. I was priviledged to witness a revitalization and a zest for living reborn in Pat because of Flip - and from all that I have been...

I remember when I was young my Uncle Flip would visit often. I was always excited to see him. He loved children and always made them feel special.

More recently I have spent a lot of time with him. Usually covered in grease, whenever we had a day off together.

I learned a lot about him from his stories. I wish I could have had more time with him to hear the rest of his stories. I will miss him very much.

Flip was truly a sweet and special person. My favorite memory will always be of my cousin at our last family reunion who was singing with tears in his eyes, a big smile, and his arm around his mother. I will treasure that memory and my dear Cousin Flip always.

Flip was great with the kids of York-Seaford Football. He was a funny guy and we will miss him. From all of the York-Seaford family!

Flip and I knew each other as kids living in Warwick on the James and going to Riverside School. I haven't seen him since those days, but I am sorry to hear of his passing. I honor him for having grown to an obviously good man. I am sorry for your loss.

Seth & Family, We know this is a very difficult time for you, and no words of Sympathy can ease your sorrow, but please know our thoughts are with you, and that your memories and special times with your dad will bring you comfort. Love, Phil & Eileen
