I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad. I know from you and others that he touched so many lives, and that's a wonderful legacy that will live on long after he's gone.

I attest that all the good things said about Phil Braun are true. And in most cases they are in the superlative.

As a former Northern High School principal (1995-2000), I remember Phil as a kind, thoughtful and humble man who truly cared. He gave of himself and through his generosity and that of fellow members of the Northern Alumni Association made post K-12 educational opportunities possible for many Northern High School students. My condolences to the family.

Steve - August 18, 1958, my first day at work at Braun & Braun. Also, the very last day Phil J. Braun was in the office. I feel honored to have worked many years with your Dad. He was so easy to work for and a man of great intergity! I learned so much from him. I have many great memories.

Whether taking photos, reading poetry, talking Flint, or sharing friends and family, each time together was special. With tender sympathy to all who shared in the joy of his life and now in the sorrow of its loss. Maryanne

Dear Family,
My late husband, Ed Northway, was a very good friend of Phil Braun. He knew him best through The Flint Golf Club and The First Presbyterian Church. I remember Phil inviting both of us to hear his son from Ann Arbor when he played the piano at The Golf Club. Phil always met everyone he knew with a special smile and warm hand shake. And we will all miss him.
