Not sure what to say?

I'm sorry I did not know of Phil's passing sooner. I wish I had known him.

Phil had an uncanny view of the world and in particular the Tunkhannock Community. He saw things that needed to be changed and rather than just talk about change, he acted. Many times his actions changed lives. He was instrumental in seeing that the Builder's Club at the Tunkhannock Area Middle school came to fruition. Many of his good deeds were done without fanfare because he frowned upon being in the spotlight.

It was an honor and a privilege to have known Phil over the many years since my involvement in the Kiwanis organization. He trully was dedicated and encouraged me in all my Kiwanis endeavors. We will all miss Phil greatly.

Charles Kishbaugh (President - Dallas Kiwanis)

Phil Broadhead will never be replaced. His service to the Kiwanis and Wyoming County was outstanding. Phil gave generously to all organizations he was involved in. Kiwanis was his first priority and he was always available with advice and financial support...and he never wanted any publicity. His advice was always given freely, and if he couldn't answer your question...you would get a phone call the following day with the information you requested. A quiet man...Phil always listened to...

Phil Broadhead will never be replaced for his dedication and financial support of not only Kiwanis, but all organizations he was involved in. The Tunkhannock Kiwanis Club and the Kiwanis Wyoming County Fair will always be grateful for his services. Phil supported all organizations he thought were doing something special to encourage children to participate. He volunteered his knowledge and financial support to make sure the organizations would continue to serve mankind...and did it without...

It was an honor and a privilege to have be able to work with him and to be mentored by him.

Major Philip Broadhead, a real hero and true servant leader.

Phil was a dedicated Kiwanian and enjoyed working with our sponsored youth groups (Key Club & Builders Club). He didn't seek public recognition for his service and was very proud of his work with the Pa. District Foundation and the Children's Heart Program. His vision to start a Pennsylvania Kiwanis Scholarship Program and the countless people he inspired with his leadership talents are a lasting legacy Phil has given to the community. He still attended Kiwanis meetings until just a few...

Uncle Phil was a private, humble person who probably never knew how many lives he touched! His passing is our loss but his rewards will be great in Heaven. A man of such stature can never be replaced, but his memory will be forever in our hearts. The Parkers (Grand-Niece & family)
