Mr. Brower was born on February 7, 1924 and passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2008. Mr. Brower was a resident of Leesburg, Indiana at the time of his passing. Philip was a 1942 graduate of Syracuse High School and attended Hemphill Diesel School in Memphis, TN. He was a WWII US Navy Veteran, serving on the submarine USS Cobia, North Webster American Legion Post 253, VFW and NRA. He was married to Eunice. Services will be held on Friday, June 6, 2008, at 10:30AM, at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, in Syracuse. Friends may call from 3-8PM Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at North Webster Mock Addition, with a military graveside service. Pastor Steven M. Mullin will officiate. A Submarine Veterans Memorial Service will be held Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to Parkview Home Health and Hospice.
I am very sorry to hear about Ike. I always loved coming over to visit and thought a lot of him. He was a very generous, nice person. I am saddened by his passing. I think of him often. I also think of your family often too, I hope you are doing ok. Kathy
