Philip Bucko

I just learned of Phil’s passing the other day. I went to elementary school with Phil at St. John the Evangelist in Detroit (Poletown). I also delivered the Detroit News to his home on Trombley. When I got to the Bucko house, I was just about at the end of my route. I always remember Phil as a fun loving upbeat guy back in grade school. Dear Aunt Diane, Chris, Craig, Julie and families; I was so sad to hear of Uncle Phil's passing. Although he was my Godfather and we didn't keep in contact, he held a special place in my heart and I have lots of fond memories of listening to Tiger games, family poker games, and huge hugs! I know he loved you and was so very proud of you. He was proud of his military service and was so very thoughtful to send a letter to Stephen when he joined the Army.
