I just learned of Phil’s passing the other day. I went to elementary school with Phil at St. John the Evangelist in Detroit (Poletown). I also delivered the Detroit News to his home on Trombley. When I got to the Bucko house, I was just about at the end of my route. I always remember Phil as a fun loving upbeat guy back in grade school. One of my favorite recollections was playing basketball against Phil when we were seniors in high school. He was the star player for Sweetest Heart of...

Dear Aunt Diane, Chris, Craig, Julie and families; I was so sad to hear of Uncle Phil's passing. Although he was my Godfather and we didn't keep in contact, he held a special place in my heart and I have lots of fond memories of listening to Tiger games, family poker games, and huge hugs! I know he loved you and was so very proud of you. He was proud of his military service and was so very thoughtful to send a letter to Stephen when he joined the Army.
