He counseled me when I needed it. I respected his service. It was an important time for my professional development. I am so sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed spending time talking with Phil. I would even stop by his office just to chat sometimes. I was honored to have him swear me in as an officer in the US Army. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Mickey and family....am so very sorry to hear of Phil's passing. I worked with him for many years at Fort Lewis and he was not only a friend to me but to everyone he ever met. I shall always remember his humor and love for life and family.

I just don't know what to say. I have known you for almost 40 years and I always felt like a part of your family growing up. I am truly sorry for your loss and I wish I was there for you. I will keep you in my prayers.

I was so sorry to hear of Sonnie's passing. I just found a letter he had written to my Gram, Stella, when Sam Tgiros died. May God bless you all.

Dear Carla,
I've just read your dad's obit in today's TNT. I am sorry for your loss. Prayers.
Br. Paul, S.J.

Phil has been my friend (education center days) and golf "mentor" for many years. I have always enjoyed his irascible manner and weird sense of humor. He will be missed!
