Not sure what to say?

Having moved away from Miami in 1991, I only learned of his passing from the November 2020 Florida Bar News. Phil and I were colleagues when I was a federal prosecutor in Miami. He was a man of high morals and principles who fought hard to protect his clients' rights. He was also willing, when asked, to share his wisdom and experience with me, a young prosecutor, something I genuinely appreciated. Above all, no matter what, he was always a gentleman and a professional. My sincerest...

My dear friend Beverly,

I am profoundly saddened by the passing of Philip. He was truly one of the loveliest people I've had the pleasure to know. I will miss him being a lector at Mass and his brilliant renderings of Pontius Pilate during The Passion of Christ readings. Above all, I will remember his consoling and loving words following my own Dad's passing. Please accept my sincere condolences for you and everyone who loves Philip.

Dear Beverly and Family,
Words cannot express our sympathy when we learned of Philips passing. We loved his presentations in our Family Home Groups that we participated with him for so many years. We admired him for his talks at Prayer Muffin and his fiery role as Pontus Pilot for Easter. And more importantly as the ADVOCATE of the Knights of Columbus 1430 at St Louis, where he steered us through its growing years by also being level headed and a good friend. We will miss him and always...

Rest in peace my brother.

He was a giant in the courthouse in the best sense of the word. As a young prosecutor, I admired him and feared him as an opponent. Outside of the courtroom he was a true gentleman. A man of his word. Polite, friendly, decent. He was a lawyer we all admired. May he rest in peace after a life well lived.

Luv U Philip
