Not sure what to say?

Philly you were a great man! I truly wish I had more time than the 5years we spent together. You treated me like a son and was always there for me if needed. You did a lot for me without even knowing it.

My deepest sympathies to all in the families. May your fond memories assist you all during this difficult time. Peace and Prayers for all.

Phil, you will be missed deeply. When I first came to Hallen you told me I could finish my career here and I just laughed. 18 years later and we became great friends. I'll miss talking with you. May god watch over you and your family. Your family meant everything to you. I'll miss you. Until we meet again Rick Wozlonis (teamster 282)

Our deepest sympathies to the Cernera family. Philip Cernera was a kind and caring man, a loving husband, father and, grandfather, and an active member of the Morris Park Community. He taught our sons much about basketball and life as their coach, which we will always appreciate.
