Not sure what to say?

I'll never stop missing you. I drive around your memorial round about every week. Look at the baseball fields and smile remembering the time we shared. From home town, to boot camp and deployments. I keep a box of memories and pictures. I'll see you again some day. Miss you so much. You are a true hero. Hope to visit you this weekend and have a chat. Always always and all of forever.

My thoughts and prayers are often with your family and friends even after all these years. While I wish that you were still here with us in person, you will be forever in our hearts reminding us to honor your memory. Semper Fidelis, LtCol T. K. Owen, USMC

It fills my heart to see so many condolences on this page, especially long after you you've gone. The void you left will never be filled. I hope your family has done well representing you still, and are holding tight to their memories with you. I know I am. Semper Fi devil.

Philip,

You left far to soon and a void will forever be left in me without you. I know you are up there probably laughing at me with some smartalic remark, but I miss you dearly. I miss your laugh, your smile, and how you would light up a room by walking in. I only pray to some day see you again, it feels like...

Phil,

Even though you are gone, I still think of you every single day. You are my motivation to be better. Because of you I have made the decision to serve my country and be apart of something bigger than myself. I am currently serving an overseas 6 month and the thought of you keeps my head above water more than you could ever know. I miss you like crazy brother.

Never Forget

We fought our way through boot camp together, School of Infantry, Assigned to the same Platoon in 2/6, and deployed to the sandbox side by side. We made it through a lot up until the day I said goodbye to you that day as I watched the helicopter lift off hoping and praying you would pull through. You were my best friend and most importantly my brother. I have the last thing I said to you tattoo'd on my arm "I'm right here with you" and I look at it everyday and will never forget you. I tell...

To the family and friends of Cpl. Philip Charte:
Please accept my remembrance of Philip on the anniversary of his passing and know that he will never be forgotten.

We never had the honor of meetin Philip, but we visit him every time we visit our son. I'm sure our boys are together and watching over us. Diane and Steve Burroughs

Philip Charte has not been forgotten. He is still respected, honored and admired. We appreciated his military service and willingness to make a difference.
