Not sure what to say?

Just now learning of this... Wonderful neighbor and friend for many years when we lived in Bethesda.. So sorry we lost touch when we moved back to the West Coast...Fond memories. Phil and Barbara were like family...Phil especially rushing over to share a new riddle or joke with my two young daughters.. (The flip-side of his CIA job!) He is missed... Loving hugs to the family.... Sally Rountree (Galvin)

A great man, his children should always be proud. They turned out amazing.

Although we hadn't seen each other for many years, Phil and I would talk on the phone around the holidays. Our families lived a couple of blocks from each other in Philadelphia. I was deeply saddened to hear of Phil's passing. his memory will remain in my heart for as long as I live.---Cousin Mike Cherry

Dear Barbara and family, Our deepeste condolences for the loss of our dear Philip. He will always be in our hearts. Love, Rosalinda and family

I´m so sorry for your loss. I do not have the words..Love you all

Mary Ellen and I note with sadness Phil's passing. Please accept our prayerful condolences to your family and you. Phil's steadfast loyalty and support during Clair George's trials in the Iran Contra affair was a true testament of friendship and lawyerly commitment. He was not only a stalwart defender of his colleague but also a true friend to Clair and to Clair's defense team. May he rest in Peace. Dick & Mary Ellen
