Dear Else,So sorry for your loss

Dear Else, So sorry for your loss d

The news of Phil's passing brought tears this morning. It was my good fortune to connect with the Colella family so many years ago. With so many treasured memories, I'm sending my love and condolences to Elsie and all in the Colella family. Peace be with you.

Doc and his Son, John were my mentors during my teen years. I credit them for being those adults that would listen and have those deep life conversations. I learned a lot about local landmarks, and trains. I was always impressed with his insistence that John eat meals that were more nutritious then quick fast good whel he was working patrol. I knew his office as John's "work closet." Doc made a difference in my life and for that I am thankful. You are in my prayers.

Before there was "google" I would wonder about different things and I would ask my husband Rick to ask Phil because he was so full of knowledge. He also was there if we needed a dentist in an emergency. His response come on up. We also have enjoyed all of the years spent at the range and cabin.

Elsie, Brad, and Jim - Thinking of you all and remembering Phil - so glad he was able to enjoy the cottage getaway for many years. Hoping to see you this summer to express my sympathy in person.

Dr. Colella was a long time friend as well as our family dentist. Phil and I shared our 'service stories' many times over the years.
One of our mutual events happened when out daughter LuAnn had an extremely painful tooth ache, and Phil was on road patrol duty with the Tioga County Sheriff Dept. he told us to meet him at the office we got there about the same time, and he took care of LuAnn, in full uniform, side arm and all. She wanted to know why her doctor was dressed as a sheriff?...
