Mrs. Coles: I am so sorry to read about Phil's passing, no finer person have I met. I grew up and played with Phil on Bryant Street and we went to the Lafayette School together, and he was a wonderfully kind person and so liked by everyone. My sympathy to you and your entire family. June Cornish Ballentine

Della, we are so sorry to hear about Phil. I remember him backing into B St everyday patiently waiting for all us kids to move, yelling "Hi Phil", him just kind of laughing to himself. Phil and George comparing their Lincolns. All the adults shoveling out B Street, starting a one end and working their way out, the bar set up in one of the snow banks! Those were the days! Love to you Dina, Todd, and Baby George.

Many years ago, I worked in a local gasoline service station (Myer's Arco). Philip (called Junior by is mother as I remember) and his mother, Edith, were amongst our favorite customers. Two wonderful people who I am honored to have known and still remember after nearly 50 years. I am very sorry to hear of his passing. Jack Kurdzionak
