Not sure what to say?

Olivia, Phil was such a great person. I have very warm memories of many family holidays spent with you and Phil.

At Christmas time, with his quintessential patience and care, Phil would spend the better part of a morning peeling and sectioning oranges destined for ambrosia. I remember Door County corn on the grill and caramel apples in the crisp fall air, in the warm glow of each other's company.

Holidays and vacations were great when you and Phil were around.

Mrs. Crockett, we have never met, but I was one of Phil's roommates at West Point. He was a wonderful guy and a great friend.

His life was too short, but, knowing Phil, I'm sure that he touched many lives with his special kind of caring.

I will pray for you and your family.

Please know that Phil carries on in the memories of his West Point classmates. Although we lost touch with each other over the years, my recollections of the time we spent as room-mates are as vivid as this morning. Be at peace, and God bless you and your family, Phil.

To Philip’s Family and Friends

All my thoughts and prayers are with you. His life will be treasured and greatly remembered.

“Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things: enter you into the joy of your lord.” Matthew 25:23

My deepest sympathy goes out to Phil's family. We met about ten years ago when I was working as a wildlife rehabilitator in North Carolina. His love of nature was a joy in his life. The world has lost a good and gentle soul who will be greatly missed.

Ms Crockett,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. As a former student of yours, you have always been in my thoughts, and continue to be in my prayers during this trying time. God be with you and your family.

Sincerely,
