Phil was a great guy. I always enjoyed playing golf with him at CCN and I admired his spirit as he fought his illness.

Phil was a good friend when I worked for him in Kalamazoo. He was a creative thinker and a diligent worker. Spent many good times with him and Alexis. Rest in peace my friend and best wishes to Alexis and family.

I’m confident in saying Phillip was not at all a complainer, I’ve been a nurse for many years and his pleasant style and kind presence is unforgettable, i always addressed him as Mr Von Maur became he was always dressed so sharp

I have been honored to know Phil the last four years. I met him at The Country Club of the North and played many rounds of golf with him. There are so few people in your life that you connect with so quickly and so closely, Phil was one of those rare individuals. He always impressed me with his positive attitude and spirit, but much more so when I last spent time with him in early September.
