Not sure what to say?

when I first started Dancing I went to a competition in LA i was in my early 20's. I let Uncle Philip know and he came to visit me at the hotel. That was the first time i really got to speak with him, one on one, just us. I discovered he was fun and easy to speak with and knew from then on that he was in my corner.

We continue to remember Phillip - with his kindnesses, good humor and openness. Mark, we know that you must feel it even more. Fondly, Anne and Frankl

I am so sad to hear about Philips passing. I met him in 1990 in Sydney Australia and we were friends for many years, but had lost touch I was thinking about him today and saw he had passed away RIP buddy im sorry we lost touch and there is a lesson in here for everyone not to wait too long

I was so sorry to hear that Philip died. I was the founding Executive Director of the Boston Living Center and was fortunate to work (and play) with him for many years as a volunteer and board member. It was my honor to know Philip and may his memory be for a blessing. Leah

We are greatly saddened by Phillip's passing. We valued his friendship over at least 5 decades and delighted in his charm and adventurous spirit. He loved life and lived it well. Our deepest sympathies go to Mark, Ashley, Lindsay and all his family.

Sad to learn of Phil's passing. I am certainly glad he was able to spend his last years with Mark for whom his ever-present smile widened. I have wonderful memories of Phil reading comics at his house when we were 10. Then through the years our friendship deepened at Harvard and gatherings that included our many friends. He leaves an unfillable hole in our lives. My condolences to Mark and his whole extended family. Bobby Livermore

I was deeply saddened to hear of the loss of one of my heroes. Phil praised and encouraged me when I first started working for Equality Florida. He was a passionate soul who loved his husband, Mark, and his community. My condolences to his family and many friends. Rest in power, sweet man.

Mark, We are so sorry for your loss. Phil lived a good life, helping those in need. He had a career and academic achievements that are to be proud of. We saw him briefly at Brookdale and enjoyed seeing him in dining room. His photo in the Mail Room is there to look at that we all have an end. Our sincere condolences to you and all the family. May his soul Rest in Peace. Lachman Chablani, MD
